CHALLENGING QUALIFYING FOR ÁLEX MÁRQUEZ IN THAILAND

Álex Marquez will start the Grand Prix of Thailand from the seventh row after a tough day of qualifying at the Chang International Circuit. The LCR Honda CASTROL rider struggled for rhythm throughout the second day at Buriram and will now look to stage a trademark fightback in Sunday’s MotoGP race.

Sitting 14th overnight, the Spaniard was unable to improve his lap time in FP3 and again battled with grip issues in humid conditions during FP4. He eventually had to settle for 10th spot in a bunched Q1 session and will now focus on battling into points contention in tomorrow’s premier class event.
