ÁLEX CLAIMS POINTS FINISH IN ARGENTINA

Álex Márquez secured a points finish as he fought back on race day at Sunday’s Argentina Grand Prix. Starting from the seventh row of the grid, the LCR Honda CASTROL rider faced a tough task at Termas de Rio Hondo, but pushed hard to take 15^th position at the third event of the 2022 MotoGP World Championship.

The Spaniard made full use of the extended warm-up session on Sunday morning to try new settings ahead of the race. He made a solid start only to suffer contact at the first corner but made up further places during the course of the race to claim a second successive points finish and is now focused on competing hard at next weekend’s American GP in Texas.
