Álex Márquez secured a points finish as he fought back on race day at Sunday’s Argentina Grand Prix. Starting from the seventh row of the grid, the LCR Honda CASTROL rider faced a tough task at Termas de Rio Hondo, but pushed hard to take 15th position at the third event of the 2022 MotoGP World Championship.

The Spaniard made full use of the extended warm-up session on Sunday morning to try new settings ahead of the race. He made a solid start only to suffer contact at the first corner but made up further places during the course of the race to claim a second successive points finish and is now focused on competing hard at next weekend’s American GP in Texas.
