UNFORTUNATE END FOR ÁLEX MÁRQUEZ IN ARAGON

Álex Márquez endured a tough race day at MotorLand as he failed to finish the Grand Prix of Aragon on Sunday. The LCR Honda CASTROL rider crashed out on the opening lap of the MotoGP event in north-east Spain, bringing a premature end to a challenging weekend back on home soil.

Starting from 14th on the grid, the Spaniard knew the importance of making a fast start at a circuit where he finished on the podium 12 months ago. As he looked to make up positions early on, Álex made contact at turn five and went down, but, most importantly, was able to walk away uninjured from the incident.
